Biography
Professor Prelevic has been a consultant endocrinologist for over 40 years and has published extensively on a number of topics in her field.
She is a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Platinum Medical Centre and also Golders Green Outpatients & Diagnostic Centre (both clinics are part of the HCA International - Wellington Hospital, London). Prior to her retirement from NHS practice Professor Prelevic was Consultant Endocrinologist at the Royal Free Hospital (1996-2015) and Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Whittington Hospital (2002-2015).
Previously Professor Prelevic was Senior Lecturer in Reproductive Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine, Royal Free & University College London Medical School from 1996 to 2005.
Prior to moving to the UK in 1993, she was Professor of Medicine at the Belgrade University School of Medicine and Head of the Division of Endocrinology at Zvezdara University Medical Centre, Belgrade.
She has maintained a strong interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause and osteoporosis.
She also undertakes medico-legal work in relation to her field.
