Pregnancy in women with PCOS

Pregnancy in women with PCOS should be regarded as high risk pregnancy and managed as such. It is now well recognised that women with PCOS are at higher risk of pre-eclapmsia, gestational diabetes and possibly foetal anomalies. It is still unclear whether increased rate of early pregnancy loss is genuine characteristic of PCOS, or result of obesity or induction of ovulation.
